GOOGLE beat out rivals APPLE and FACEBOOK when it comes to reputation. It continued its place on top of a Washington Post – ABC News Poll
measuring how internet users feel about some of the country’s top tech firms.
The poll shows that 83% of American adults contacted have a “favorable” view of GOOGLE, compared with 72% for APPLE and 60% for FACEBOOK. The overall results are similar to those of last year.
GOOGLE has strong ratings across all age and ethnic groups and salary levels, with its lowest favorable rating coming from users older than 65. They gave the company a 64% favorable rating.
Interestingly, APPLE’s standing with users younger than 30 dropped significantly from last year’s poll. The maker of the IPhone and IPad has a 71% favorable rating with the youngest respondents, down from an 81% rating ast year.
Thanks for “listening”
