Facebook Inc. says it’s discovered the “authentic contract” signed by its chief executive officer, Mark Zuckerberg, and Paul Ceglia, the western New York man who claims he’s entitled to part-ownership of the company.
Facebook attached a blurry version of the contract to its court papers. The document, dated April 28, 2003, appears to include signatures by Zuckerberg and Ceglia and a handwritten addition to the contract’s terms.
In contrast to the version of the contract produced by Ceglia, it doesn’t appear to include any references to Facebook.
The case is Ceglia v. Zuckerberg, 1:10-cv-00569, U.S. District Court, Western District of New York (Buffalo).
Apparently, Mr. Ceglia may have bitten off more than he can chew.
